When I started this blog, I did a post on The Girl Behind The Bags and now I want to talk about what we're all about as a brand. Jennifer Nicole Collection has come a LONG way just in the last six months but there are a few things that have stayed true to us and what I want from this business and the products I want to share with the world.
Anyone that knows me knows that I have had a long love for fashion, shoes and purses in particular and something that has always been important when looking for the perfect handbag? Quality. Creating a quality product is one of the most important things to me when it comes to Jennifer Nicole Collection, so when I was looking for the perfect place to have my designs manufactured it was no question, it had to be Italy. I have long loved the Italian craftsmanship and honestly, their quality cannot be beat, there's a reason so many top designers have stayed tried-and-true to selling Italian made products. I have a close relationship with my manufacturer (YES! For those of you wandering, that does mean that I'm learning Italian so we can actually communicate.) and he's been in the business his entire life. We've had so many conversations about quality and the belief that creating a quality product is what will keep people coming back and putting the time and effort into making something that lasts is worth it in the long run.
However, not only is quality on the top of my list, at Jennifer Nicole Collection, we have a saying of creating Form and Function (form being quality). Creating bags that are functional, as well as fashionable, is something that is also incredibly important. The interior of our bags are specifically designed so that everything is right at your fingertips, not only that but I find that so many of the bags I used to carry always turned into "black holes" as I like to call it and I was constantly digging around to find anything and I did not want our Jennifer Nicole bags to fall under that category. This is also a large reason why at Jennifer Nicole Collection, I like to focus on smaller bags (We do have a few larger options although in comparison to some, they are all still considered to be smaller bags.), and honestly right now small is the new big. This way you can focus on only bringing the necessities and living life to the fullest without lugging around a giant bag to drag you down.
Form and function are the biggest goals when it comes to creating bags for Jennifer Nicole Collection, and it's a big reason I think you'll fall in love with our collection of bags. Not only are these important to us but I'll let you in on a little secret of up and coming things that I'm working on!
